2026 Rivian R1T
$89,900

The Rivian R1T remains the most capable electric pickup currently sold in Canada, and the 2026 model year refines rather than redirects. The dual-motor trim claims 435 km range from a 105 kWh pack; the quad-motor R1T pushes to 515 km on the Max battery option while adding 835 hp and 0-100 km/h times that put it ahead of every internal-combustion full-size truck except the Ram 1500 TRX.
Canadian pricing runs from roughly $100,000 CAD for a Dual-Motor R1T up past $190,000 for a Quad-Motor, depending on battery and configuration. None of the trims qualify for the federal EVAP rebate — every R1T sits far above the program's $50,000 final-transaction cap, so the rebate question never enters the math.
The R1T's case in Canada is the combination nobody else offers: 11,000 lb towing capacity (matching a gas-engine F-150 PowerBoost), a 1,200 lb payload, a 1,200-litre gear tunnel between the cab and the bed, and the ability to drive 515 km on a full charge in mild weather. For Canadian buyers who use a pickup for work and weekend recreation, the R1T is currently the only EV that doesn't force a compromise on either end.
